I’m Chinelle
A Trinidad-born, Tampa-bred Birth Becomes You Certified birth photographer.
I began my photography journey in 2010, documented my first birth client in early 2011, and was hooked ever since. My specialty is births - which means that each of my clients can rest easy knowing that they are working with someone who has an experienced presence and respect for the birth space. I’m so committed to births that I choose not take on any other kinds of sessions that can take my attention away from my birth clients. Also, I actually LIVE in a centrally located part of Tampa, which means I have quick access to all major highways to get to any part of town - from north past Wesley Chapel and Land O’ Lakes to south past Wimauma, west to Clearwater and St. Pete, and east to Lakeland all under 45 minutes - which comes in super handy when I’m speeding to get to your birth.

So so thankful to have had Chinelle capture my daughter's birth! She is absolutely amazing at what she does. She's super funny too and laughing during labor is a great thing! | was nervous at first thinking about a photographer taking photos and video of me during birth but I knew that I wanted it to be done. I wanted a video to be able to experience this time again and to help me remember the feelings and emotions I was going through. Chinelle is so down to earth it was like I knew her before I even met her, which made all of that nervousness go away. She took and put together the video so perfectly that you can feel all of the emotions from my birth by watching it. After looking back on the video and pictures there was so much that I didn't remember because of how exhausted I was. It was worth every penny and I will definitely have Chinelle at my future births!

Where do I begin! Chinelle is awesome! She's very down to earth and will do whatever she can to make you comfortable with the entire experience. She did an amazing job capturing the birth of our son. The video had my hubby in tears! Hahaha!!! She was always available to answer any questions I had and male the entire process stress free. Love her!

I literally had the best experience working with Tampa Birth Photographer ever!! Chinelle is so talented, kind and humble. I had always been so drawn to her birth photography that I knew whenever I would have a baby I wanted her there with me to capture the birthing experience. Not only was Chinelle there the day to capture the most amazing moment of my life, the birth of my baby girl, she was there for me throughout my pregnancy as a friend and additional support system. Chinelle was super responsive, professional and courteous. She did an amazing job capturing all the details and emotions of my birthing experience. My photos came out better than I EVER could imagine and I am so glad that I have them to look back on for a lifetime! I am so happy that l made the decision to work with Chinelle!!!

Words cannot begin to describe how grateful I am to Chinelle. My husband and I are so glad that we chose her to help document the pregnancy and birth of our first child. Chinelle was a helping hand throughout this process; checking in with us often to gauge our comfort level and offering help whenever she could. She was very flexible and just a joy to be around overall. Chinelle is wonderful. She has a great attitude and works SO hard! She's a seriously amazing boss babe for real. I hired her to do video of my birth. I had previously miscarried and was anxious with this pregnancy. She was kind and patient with me as l worked through my issues. And then, when my baby was breech and my birth plans had to be changed, and everything was up in the air until the very last minute, she rolled with the punches and was awesome. Her video work was wonderful, and she went above and beyond for my family. I definitely recommend her and am so glad we hired her. If you're on the fence about having your birth covered - don't hesitate. You'll be glad you hired Chinelle. I sure am! <3

Let's be real. There are moments in life that change you... and to have the opportunity to have one of those moments captured to revisit is, well, a crazy amazing thing if you think about it. My husband and I have been in multiple births (I'm a labor + delivery RN as well as, you guessed it, a birth photographer). With my husband actually being the more talented of the two of us in capturing the beauty in moments, I could have EASILY leaned towards him snapping a few photos and videos here and there BUT OH HOW I WOULD HAVE MISSED OUT. Needless to say, we are pretty "choosy" on photographers and videographers... we just know what we like... and Chinelle is ridiculously talented and has a natural eye for capturing the emotion, beauty and heaviness of birth. We could not decide on if we wanted her to do photos or videos, so we of course had her do BOTH... and NEITHER is lacking. We will again and again recommend her. She blessed us thoroughly with her work as well as with her presence in our birth space. THANK YOU CHINELLE. <3

Having a birth photographer is the BEST decision you will ever make. I immediately felt connected with Chinelle through seeing her work and even more so when we met. She checked in on me throughout pregnancy and spent time getting to know our family...that made it feel natural for her to be at my birth, capturing me in my most vulnerable moments. She is SO incredibly talented. My labor went extremely fast, so I doubted that it was time for her to come (no one else was on their way yet). She insisted on coming to make sure she didn't miss anything and I will forever be grateful she did. It was almost as if she wasn't there, because of her calm presence. Her work is beautiful and TRUST me when I say...you NEED her at yours. Thank you again for everything!
