 How It Works

As a dedicated birth photographer and videographer, I bring a unique and thoughtful perspective when it comes to designing your ideal birth space. I take into careful consideration not only your personal style and preferences but also how to enhance the environment in a way that will be the most photographable. This thoughtful approach ensures that every meaningful moment is beautifully captured, allowing you to experience and remember the most stunning birth you could ever imagine.

 
 

STEP ONE

Just fill out the short questionnaire below to give me a little insight into your vision for your ideal birth space.

 
 

STEP TWO

I will take that info and come up with a design that fits your space and budget and create an inspiration board for you to approve.

 
 

STEP THREE

Once you’ve approved the design concept, I’ll get everything ordered and we will schedule a date (closer to 38 weeks) for me to come and set everything up for you.

  • Well, I’m naturally an artsy person with a deep, secret passion for making spaces feel comforting and uplifting to the people who inhabit them. Before creating this as an option, I have designed several office spaces, completely revamped our home—which seriously feels like a whole new vibe—and crafted beautifully unique, dope-ass rooms for my kids. And I’ve managed to do all this on very modest budgets, proving that thoughtful design doesn’t have to break the bank.

  • There’s a flat rate of $350, plus whatever your budget allows for decor, to design and personalize your birth space beautifully. This includes my dedicated time curating the perfect, calming atmosphere for you, creating mockups to visualize the design, sourcing any special products or decorations needed, and my careful attention to setting everything up just right for your comfort and experience.

  • Absolutely! That’s why your budget is separate from and in addition to my design fee. You have the freedom to keep everything exactly as I’ve thoughtfully set it up for your birth after your beautiful baby arrives, or you can choose to repurpose the items in a way that feels right for you. It’s completely yours to cherish, use, and enjoy however you please.

  • It really depends on the number and complexity of the changes we will be making throughout the process. However, it’s best to plan for around 2 to 4 hours or so to ensure we have enough time to carefully review and implement everything smoothly.
